The internet of things can have a transformative effect on the media industry by helping providers create new content formats and delivery platforms, says a report from EY. Media and entertainment companies "will be able to use data to deliver highly personalized, contextually relevant entertainment experiences to help people re-imagine their experiences on devices they already own," said EY executive Chris Gianutsos.
