Radio-frequency identification maker Avery Dennison and Internet of Things platform vendor Evrything are teaming up on a three-year plan that will add smart tags to 10 billion clothing and footwear items. The tags will sync with smartphone apps to deliver consumer data to brands and allow companies to better serve their customers.
